Kathy Scherrer of the Kiwanis Club of Clermont, Lt. Mark Stauffer of the Lake County Sheriff

The Kiwanis Club of Clermont presented a check for $1,000.00 to Lt. Mark Stauffer of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office as a donation to the 2017 Project Kid Connect Project.  The event will take place on Saturday, July 15 from 10 am – 1 pm at the South Lake District Office, 15855 SR 50, in Clermont.

This is the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Charities 4th Annual Project Kid Connect benefitting south Lake County’s school-aged children. There will be games, music, food and more!  The goal is to raise $10,000, to provide school supplies to 650+ south Lake County underprivileged students for their first day of school.
