This week Clermont parkrun helped celebrate parkrun International’s 13th birthday with 112 runners and walkers completing the course. Our local Clermont runners and many International visitors wore their apricot parkrun shirts representing their home parkrun to help celebrate the occasion. Visitors from Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the U.K. made Clermont parkrun part of their Holiday plans while here in the Orlando area. There was also a great group of runners who joined us from East Ridge Middle and other local schools.
John Turner was first across the line this week with an impressive time of 18:21. He was followed closely by Frank Borden in second position and Reagan McGinley in the third spot. Alexis Hill led the female runners with a great time of 22:34. Reagan Parks and Yolimar Bolivar finished in the second and third spots respectively.
This week of the 112 people who ran, jogged and walked the course, 33 were first timers and 13 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 8 different clubs took part. Thanks to everyone who participated this week!
The event is made possible by this week’s 11 volunteers:
