On Saturday, February 17, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Dr. Marc Minno will guide attendees on a 2-hour trek through the sandhill scrub and wetlands of the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail. Butterflies, caterpillars, native plants, shrubs, trees and more than 130 species of birds, including the elusive Florida Scrub-Jay, are found in this biologically diverse habitat.
Pack a brown bag lunch, binoculars, water bottle, and wear sensible shoes suitable for walking through the wilderness. Over lunch, you will have the opportunity to discuss your discoveries with Dr. Minno.
