The Animal League

Hello there! Gretchen here at The Animal League! I’m looking for a special home that I can call my very own. I am a 1-year-old American Pitbull Terrier blend and I weigh about 46 pounds.  I am a very sweet girl that just wants to be loved and to find a home of my very own.  I can be a little timid and shy when I first meet you, but I will be your best friend once I get to know you.  I really enjoy going for walks in the Florida sunshine and just being with you.   I also would like to run around crazy sometimes and burn off some energy, so a back yard for me to play with my toys in would be great!  Speaking of toys, I love to play on the floor with my toys, especially the fun ones that SQUEAK!   I would do best in a family that has older (or no) children and possibly with a doggie sibling that is smaller than me.  I am very lovable and full of personality and I know I would be a good girl.  I adore my family here but I would really love to find my forever family….is that you???  If you think Gretchen would be a good fit for your family, please give us a call!

Come on out and adopt me or one of my friends! There are on average 150 dogs and 50 cats waiting for families to discover them at The Animal League!

If you are interested in me or any of our other Adoptables, please visit The Animal League Adoption Center located at 4648 Baptist Island Road, 4 miles north of Highway 50 on Highway 33 in Groveland, FL.
