The Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller is honoring U.S. military veterans and active-duty personnel during the month of November by offering free passport photos, a savings of $10.

“November is a time when our nation unites to honor veterans on Veteran’s Day, and we wanted to do something special for our active-duty service members and military veterans,” said Gary Cooney, Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller.

To be eligible for the free photo, military personnel can present their DD-214, military ID, or have a veteran designation on their driver’s license.
