Lake County 2024 EcoExpo will happen Saturday, March 2 in the Lake Square Mall at 10401 US Hwy 441 in Leesburg from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The theme of this year’s EcoExpo is “Lake County – Let’s Go Green!”.  

2024 EcoExpo is free and open to the public.

The event will feature about 50 exhibits from government agencies, nonprofit conservation organizations and green businesses, included for the first time this year. Among the special exhibits is a gallery of twenty environmental maps of Lake County produced by GIS.     Climate First Bank has sponsored a poster contest for Lake County high school students. Fifty posters will be on display and the prizes will be announced. Trout Lake Nature Center of Eustis will have an interactive discovery exhibit. Exhibits will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.   

More than 20 speakers from government, academia and business will speak on topics including smart growth, sustainability, energy alternatives, climate change, and community resilience. The keynote speaker will be Lake County Commissioner Doug Shields. Speaker sessions will be all day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
