Get ready to indulge your sweet tooth and show off your baking skills! The Mascotte Church, located at 15 N. Bay Lake Ave., is hosting its Second Annual Cake Bake-Off Contest on Saturday, May 17, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Bakers from the community are invited to compete for sweet prizes, with the First Place Winner receiving a $25 gift card and a medal, Second Place earning a $15 gift card and a medal, and Third Place taking home a $10 gift card and a medal.
All entries must be homemade cakes—no box mixes allowed—and participants are required to submit a list of ingredients along with their entry. This precaution ensures that the judges, who may have food allergies, can safely sample each cake. Ingredient disclosure will not affect eligibility for the contest.
The registration fee for contestants is $10, and the deadline to register is the day of the event.
After the competition, community members are invited to sample the cakes for just a $5 donation, giving everyone a chance to enjoy a variety of delicious, homemade treats.
