A total of $22,500.00 was awarded to eleven students that were active members of the Kiwanis Club of Clermont Key Club sponsored high schools this year.
Candidates for the scholarships are selected by a series of qualifiers, including the student’s willingness to make a positive and constructive change in their school and/or community.

Cadence Whitehouse
A stand out student this year was Cadence Whitehouse, a student at Montverde Academy. Cadence logged over 1,000 hours of community service during her four year membership beginning with our Kiwanis sponsored K-Kids, Builders Club and eventually Key Club status. Cadence also served two consecutive years as the Lake County area Key Club Lieutenant Governor.
