The organization was created to honor local veterans and service members—and raise money for the AMW charity—Last year the event drew 300 participants and will have representation from local military recruiters, JROTC groups, veterans’ organizations as well as schools and clubs.

Come out and help show appreciation to those who have made sacrifices for our country.  This low-cost event has something for all ages and ability levels.  There are 3 options for participants—you can do a 2-mile walk/run or you can do a 2 or 4-mile walk/run that includes exercise stations for each branch of the military.

2018 America’s Mighty Warrior Race (SEE HOW IT’S DONE)

Prior to the start, the Clermont Battalion–U.S. Naval Sea CadetCorps will present the colors and we will honor some of our local veterans.  Participants will receive custom dog tags and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will be passing out flags at the end of the race.  Top finishers will receive awards.

This race is made possible by the financial support of the presenting sponsor, KB Home and is produced by Clermont Triathlon Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5277 of Clermont.  The new co-race director, Command Sergeant Major Michael Stout (U.S. Army, Retired), is also working to make this a great event.
