]]> VFW Commander Ron Chappo, Quartermaster Bob Farrell and Honor guardsman Fred Thomas recently attended an awards ceremony at the main firehouse in Clermont.

Fireman of the year Thomas Bennett was honored by the VFW with a plaque and certificate for outstanding work this year. Chief David Ezell also awarded Mr. Bennet with certificates and presented them during the award ceremony. The on-duty firemen and all office personnel attended the ceremony.
