]]> There’s nothing like ice cream to bring people together—and this month, it comes with a scoop of community spirit. On Monday, September 22, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., families are invited to join the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and the Clermont Police Department for Cops N’ Cones for Kids at the Clermont Dairy Queen, 860 U.S. Highway 27.

Children will be treated to free ice cream cones, generously provided by Clermont Dairy Queen, while getting the chance to meet the local deputies and officers who serve our neighborhoods every day.

The afternoon is all about connection—creating an easygoing space where kids can laugh, ask questions, and see law enforcement as friendly faces in the community. Parents are encouraged to stop by, enjoy a cone, and share in the spirit of togetherness.

It’s a fun way for families to meet the officers behind the badges. 

Spend some time with the people who keep Clermont safe. Cops N’ Cones for Kids is free, family-friendly, and open to all.
