The text updates will be in coordination with the County’s dedicated COVID-19 resources web page (https://www.lakecountyfl.gov/COVID-19) that provides written and video updates, and resources and information for residents and businesses, including transit updates, office closures, event cancellations and testing.

The Florida Department of Health’s hotline is accepting calls from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at (352) 742-4830 for health-related questions and information on COVID-19 testing. The County’s Citizens Information Line is available for other questions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at (352) 253-9999.

Lake County Emergency Management urges residents to use trusted sources for COVID-19 updates. Trusted sources include the Florida Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Lake County COVID-19 information page, the Lake County Emergency Management Facebook and Twitter pages and opt-in text updates.
