During his seven years as city manager, Gray has led numerous initiatives, including the city’s rebranding from “Gem of the Hills” to “Choice of Champions”; the successful acquisition and opening of one of Central Florida’s largest performing arts center; development of Lake Minneola Preserve, a 220-acre passive park; a million-dollar boathouse and splash park. Gray is currently overseeing the multi-million-dollar master plan that serves as a blueprint for the city which spotlights Victory Pointe stormwater filtration system as the signature project of the Master Plan.

Kalena Meyers, SLCC Board Chair, thanked all who brought supplies and financial contributions to the breakfast. The South Lake Pain Institute will be flying supplies to the islands in the Bahamas devastated by Hurricane Dorian.
