]]> Invitations have gone out to Groveland High School alumni announcing this year’s reunion on March 28. Alumni President Connie Fleetwood said that any student or teacher who ever attended the school, which held its last graduation in 1993, are invited to attend the annual luncheon and celebration.

Alumni can register online at www.grovelandhighalumni.com or return the invitations with a check for $35 through the early deadline of March 7. After that, the price goes up to $40.

Fleetwood said that the event, held at the Wesley Center in Clermont, includes a full buffet, entertainment and silent auction to raise money for scholarships. Anyone wishing to donate items for the silent auction can contact Ann Lowe at lowe5812@yahoo.com. Donated items already include a beach condo vacation and two season tickets to the 2020 Florida State University football games!

The reunion also offers a golf tournament on March 27 for alumni, former faculty or their family and friends. Those wishing to participate can contact Bill Moody at bizmoody@gmail.com.
