Originally scheduled earlier in the year, the event faced repeated delays due to two hurricanes. However, the wait was worth it as owner and Master Chef Uday Kadam personally welcomed guests to a lively gathering filled with holiday cheer, gourmet cuisine, and elegant entertainment.

Attendees enjoyed complimentary Indian appetizers, entrées, desserts, and beverages amidst festive decorations and twinkling lights. The soothing melodies of a violinist added a touch of sophistication to the evening. The event was a collaborative success with the support of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce (SLCC) members who greeted a diverse crowd of business owners, loyal clients, friends, family, and local dignitaries.

Celebrity Servings: Besides primarily welcoming local area residents and tourists, Kadam and his restaurant teams have served many celebrities, professional athletes, musicians, politicians and plenty of Bollywood stars over the years. Master Chef! Uday Kadam is proudly from a small village 300 miles south of Mumbai, India. His father was Kadam’s first ‘Guru’ mentor and a respected teacher. While attending college in Bombay, Kadam worked at the famous Taj Mahal Hotel Restaurant. He studied under the talents of many internationally respected guru chefs who inspired him in what would become his life’s most desired profession. Kadam stepped up his professional career as a Manager for Marriott Hotels in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt before coming to work in the United States in 1982. He was the Food & Beverage Manager at the Disney Polynesian.
