Home Instead Senior Care celebrated its official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the South Lake Chamber of Commerce. Friends, family, local dignitaries and guests attended the celebration. Tours were provided.

Cheryl and Jim Hernandez own and operate Clermont’s Home Instead Senior Care. Cheryl is originally from the San Diego area and Jim is from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Cheryl was always inspired by her mother who was a long-term career nurse. Cheryl has a diverse background in operations and customer service with a degree in Political Science and Communications from Willamette University in Oregon. She had a long and successful career with National Wireless Carriers working with SONY. Jim graduated from the University of Victoria with a degree in Industrial Sociology. He has continued his successful career with Strategic Business Communications. With both Jim and Cheryl as caring parents and as caregivers for their aging parents, the switch to own their own senior care service business was an easy and smart transition. Together, they share the title of CEO for Home Instead Senior Care.
