The annual breakfast served as an inspirational forum, featuring words of wisdom and encouragement from a variety of community leaders who spoke about unity, service, and Dr. King’s enduring legacy. Attendees were welcomed by the positive energy and willingness to serve demonstrated by the Eagles players and coaching staff.

South Lake High School’s football coach Bradley Lord expressed pride in the team’s involvement, saying, “Our Eagles love our community!!” The volunteers assisted with event operations and engaged with guests, helping to make the breakfast a meaningful and successful gathering.

The South Lake Eagles’ participation reflected the program’s emphasis on leadership and service beyond the football field, reinforcing the strong connection between South Lake High School and the greater Groveland community.
