Minneola Trailhead Park, located at 315 Madison Street, is a seventeen-acre park which presently includes a dog park, basketball court, ball field, playground and now fitness zone. Resident and mother Candi Alexander proudly exclaimed, “I am thrilled with the new designs being implemented at the park. This is definitely an amazing opportunity for families to really connect in our community. The new features will be a great place to enjoy. We can’t wait!”

The playground is ADA compliant thanks to the Minneola City Council and insights from parents on best practices. Candi, a special needs advocate said, “Our family is thankful to have been a part in helping to bring awareness to the city.  I am grateful for the commitment the city invested in making sure families had a say in the design and upgrades implemented”.

“My hope is that other cities will follow the lead of Minneola and improve their own city parks which can include playground equipment designed for our awesome kids with unique abilities”, said the mom.

Skateboarders, Look forward to a skateboard park coming to the Minneola Trailhead Park.
