Mission BBQ is scheduled to open in Clermont in time for the holidays! Presently scheduled to open on December 10th, Mission BBQ will bring its signature blend of patriotism and barbecue to the South Lake community. The new restaurant is located at 1225 E Highway 50, right next to Portillo’s.

Mission BBQ began its journey on September 11, 2011, a date chosen to honor the 10th anniversary of a day that forever changed our nation. Founded by two friends passionate about barbecue and deeply patriotic, Mission BBQ is more than a restaurant; it’s a tribute to the heroes who make America great.

The founders built the concept around a shared love for authentic BBQ and a mission to recognize and support those who serve—soldiers, police officers, firefighters, first responders, and all who protect and serve our communities and country.

A special highlight: every day at lunchtime, the restaurant pauses for a salute to the Stars and Stripes, a touching reminder of the values Mission BBQ upholds.
