]]> Members of The Kiwanis Club of Clermont and volunteers were greeted with chilly weather, drizzle, and gusty winds at Clermont Oak Hill Cemetery on Saturday, November 6,  but that didn’t deter those who were determined to carry on the decades-long tradition of recognizing the men and women who have served community and country with honor.

A total of 480 United States of America flags were placed on the resting place of those who gave so much for so many. The flags will remain in place through November 13, in recognition of Veterans Day.  This solemn recognition ceremony is also done for Memorial Day (See Memorial Day Recognition & Names of Those Honored)
Chuck Seaver, president of the Kiwanis Club of Clermont, thanked those organizations who helped make this special tribute possible.

Hope Preparatory Key Club
Montverde Academy Key Club
Visit Oak Hill Cemetery, located at 764 Prince Edward Ave, Clermont, before November 13 to pay tribute to deceased heroes.
