Palms Day School is a family-owned and operated Early Childhood Education facility that combines experience, expertise, and heart. Founded by the dynamic brother-sister team of Dr. Emma Duffy and Dr. Derek Burkholder, the school is built on a shared commitment to holistic learning and the belief in every child’s potential.

Both Dr. Duffy and Dr. Burkholder hold doctorates in Education and bring years of hands-on experience in early childhood development to the classroom. Their vision is centered around nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically—within a supportive and enriching environment.

The Clermont campus of Palms Day School is conveniently located at 1380 N. Ridge Blvd., Clermont, and continues to grow as a trusted choice for families seeking a thoughtful and personalized educational experience for their children.
