The morning began with timeless Christmas carols and seasonal favorites performed by the newly formed Lake Community Choir, directed by Chad McClellan. The choir’s performance delighted attendees and highlighted its inaugural winter concert, “A Wondrous Revelation,” presented December 21 at the Clermont Performing Arts Center.

Firebase Home Inspections also served as a main event sponsor. Owner David Suggs delivered an engaging and humorous presentation, sharing his background of service as a Military Police Officer with the 3rd Infantry Division, followed by a career as a civilian police officer. For the past eight years, Suggs has worked in the home inspection and improvement industry, bringing professionalism and dedication to his work.

Suggs, a member of InterNACHI®, the world’s largest organization of home inspectors, spoke about his commitment to providing clients with a high-quality home inspection experience. He also shared personal insights about his family life, including his wife, their two sons, and their love of traveling to the mountains.

Another co-sponsor of the event was SSS Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). Owner Anganie Alidescribed the company’s mission of providing safe, reliable transportation for individuals needing assistance traveling to medical appointments. Serving the Central Florida area, SSS NEMT offers ambulatory, wheelchair, bariatric, and stretcher services, helping patients reach hospitals, doctors’ offices, and senior facilities. These services are often covered by Medicaid when no other transportation options are available.

At the beginning of the meeting, Paula Whetro was honored with the prestigious Ann Dupee Gem of the Hills Award, recognizing her exceptional dedication and service to the South Lake community. Adding to the holiday cheer, Santa and Mrs. Clause recognized a person at each table who dressed in especially festive attire and gave prizes for the best-dressed male and female participants, bringing laughter and a cheerful conclusion to the holiday-themed breakfast
