]]> South Lake High School proudly celebrated National Signing Day with an outstanding group of student-athletes committing to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Surrounded by family, friends, coaches, and supporters, these dedicated athletes signed letters of intent, marking a major milestone in their journeys. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to excellence have allowed them to compete at the next level.

The athletes who signed include:

  • Marissa Weaver – Softball, University of Fort Lauderdale
  • Alyssa Bustos – Softball, South Florida State College
  • Livia Rodrigues – Swimming, University of West Florida
  • Izaiah Henderson – Football, Ave Maria University
  • Kaden Magloire – Football, Webber International University
  • Marcel Walker – Football, Brevard College (NC)
  • Connor Plummer – Football, Southeastern University

The third annual golf outing to benefit South Lake High School Athletics is just under a month away, and excitement is building for what promises to be another fantastic event.

The event will take place at the Green Valley Country Club on October 5. Golfers can look forward to a day filled with friendly competition, with the added thrill of a hole-in-one prize of $10,000 up for grabs.

Individual participation costs $75, while a foursome can register for $300. The day’s schedule begins with check-in and a raffle at 12 pm, followed by a shotgun start at 1 pm. After a full afternoon of golf, the event will conclude with prizes, dinner, raffle draws, and the announcement of the winners.

Whether you’re an avid golfer or just looking to support a great cause, this tournament is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the South Lake High School Athletics program while enjoying a day of fun and camaraderie.
