On Friday, June 21, Cyndi Staudt, Community Wellness Coordinator at the National Training Center, announced the results of the Wellness Challenge at the SLCC Chamber Breakfast.

This year 165 individuals and 18 teams participated in the Chamber Wellness Challenge. Of those participants, 16 lost more than 10lbs throughout the 12 weeks and the top team lost 6.4% of their total body weight.

The top three teams are:

First Place – Clermont Triathlon Club

Second Place – Team Live Well

Third Place – Team Taco

The top three individuals with the largest percentage of total weight loss are:

First Place – Joe Beninghof

Second Place – Sandra Isom

Third Place – Laura Toler

The Leesburg Chamber of Commerce vs South Lake Chamber of Commerce Challenge

Winner –  Leesburg Chamber of Commerce

Strategic Planning: The South Lake Chamber needs to start gaining now so they are able to lose more in next year’s challenge and baby arrivals need to be planned before the last weigh in.
