Coming To Downtown Clermont

Pepe’s Cantina, a Mexican Grille offering a unique Mexican experience with locations already in Winter Park and Downtown Orlando, is coming to 794 West Minneola Avenue, Clermont (the corner of West Minneola Ave by Suncreek Brewery). Expected to open by the end of October.

Newly Opened!

Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, located at 1754 E. Hwy 50, held its grand opening on August 3. The restaurant offers inside and outside, full-service dining, along with a full bar.

Bagel Bros, located at 1640 E. Highway 50, is opened and offers a wide variety of bagels, as well as freshly made breakfasts and bakery items. The menu also lists hand-crafted, artisan sandwiches and burgers. Order online at https://bagelbroscafe.com or drop by.

Smoothie King is now opened at 2612 S. Hwy 27, Clermont next to Planet Fitness.

Cal’s Kitchen, located at 27425 7th St., Suite B, Montverde, is a recently opened Italian Restaurant in downtown Montverde. Serving pizza, pasta and salads.

145 F Seafood Boil (previously Mesa21) is located at 2440 SR 50 W Clermont.

AJI Sushi Teppan is coming to Clermont. It will be located on the northeast corner of State Road 50 and Hancock.

Ellie Lou’s Brew and BBQ will be opening its second brew and BBQ location at 1391 Citrus Tower Blvd, (the building formally First Green Bank).

Fazoli, an Italian eatery, will build on the site located on HWY 27, next to WaWa.

Dunkin Donuts, a VA Clinic and a Physician’s office are planned on the site directly across from RaceTrac on Citrus Tower Blvd (south) and Hwy 27. The dirt has been moving.

Action Gator Tire – the building, which is now under construction, will be located on the NW corner of Hammock Ridge Rd and 27 (across from Chick Fil A)

Minneola – The new fire station, located on property next to City Hall, 800 N Highway 27, should go out to bid this fall and start construction beginning in late spring or early summer 2021.

Clermont City Council Meetings: Meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month in the Council Chambers of Clermont’s City Hall at 6:30 pm

Groveland City Council Meetings: Meets the first and third Monday of every month at 7 pm in the E.L. Puryear Building.

Mascotte City Council Meetings – Meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Tedder-Thomas Memorial Civic Center, located at 121 N. Sunset Avenue.

Minneola City Council Meetings: Meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers at 800 N. US Hwy 27, Minneola

Montverde Town Council: Meets in the Town Hall, 17404 Sixth Street the second Tuesday of the month at 7 pm.
