Find a treasure browsing thousands of gently used Books, DVDs, CDs, Jigsaw Puzzles and Craft Supples at the Friends of Cooper Memorial Library Summer Book Sale. Our books are sorted into many categories including, Mystery, Romance, Sci- Fi/ Fantasy, History, Vintage, Biography, Foreign Language, Children, and Large Print. Most are priced at .50 to $1.00 with some specially priced. All proceeds are given to the Library to fund the free to the Community Children, Teen and Adult programs.

The Florida Department of Corrections will be hosting the 3^rd Annual “Back-to-School Bash” on Saturday, July 26^th, from 10 am -1 pm at East Ridge High School, 13322 Excalibur Road, Clermont.

This year’s event will include a food give-away provided in partnership with Farm Share. Last year’s event provided food to over 300 families with no questions asked. This year’s event is planned to realize similar results in a time when grocery prices are still at unprecedented levels in many of the required daily allowance categories for healthy eating.

Free Backpacks, School Supplies, and Family Fun for All

The City of Groveland, in partnership with Find, Feed & Restore, is excited to host the annual Back 2 School Backpack Bash—a community celebration to help students prepare for a successful new school year.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 26, at the Nathaniel Community Gymnasium, located at 13806 State Road 33, Groveland, FL 34736. The event kicks off at 10 am and runs while supplies last—so come early!

This family-friendly event will feature free backpacks filled with essential school supplies, including notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, markers, and more. In addition to preparing kids for the classroom, the morning will be packed with fun, including bounce houses, free ice cream, and other surprises—all at no cost to families.
