Free Community Event in Downtown Clermont ~ Friday, April 6, 2018
The Clermont Downtown Partnership is hosting the First Friday and Food Truck event on Friday, April 6.
Salute To Veteran’s: The VA will be honoring all American Veterans for the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. The local VFW and dignitaries will be onsite for special presentations and a color guard ceremony with Clermont Police Chief Broadway. The Clermont, Florida VFW is located at 855 West DeSoto Street. Great Music, Cars & Food: Two automobile and motorcycle clubs will be putting about 50 unique vehicles on display, so bring your cameras. The T Scott Band will be featured with a free concert starting at 6 pm in City Hall Park, so bring your folding chairs. T Scott was recently voted ‘Best Entertainer of the Year’ by Florida Magazine. From 5:30 pm to 9 pm; 14 delicious food trucks, a fun Kid’s Zone, a challenging rock climbing wall and assorted popular vendors will be on the downtown Clermont streets. Many Clermont Downtown Partnership stores will remain open late that evening until 9 pm.
