Saturday, March 31 was opening day for the Spring Season of Clermont Girls FastPitch Softball. More than 200 girls, ages 4 -18 years old, gathered to play ball at Clermont Hancock Park, the home of the Girls Fast Pitch League.

Clermont Girls Fastpitch Softball Teams Welcome Police Chief Chuck Broadway to the Season Kick Off

A cheering crowd of enthusiastic parents and friends watched as sixteen teams paraded onto the field.  Nancy Hanks Dittrick sang the National Anthem, Clermont Police Chief Chuck Broadway threw the first pitch, and the Spring Season was officially open!

The Clermont Girls Fastpitch Softball League is a non-profit corporation, run by volunteers who donate their time and often their money for the good of the game. The board encourages parents to get involved and volunteer.

Clermont Hancock Park sports five softball fields, two soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, full concession, restrooms, playground, pavilion and picnic areas.
