Beta Theta-Clermont, a chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) recently held its awards ceremony and installations of officers at the Village Green Clubhouse at Green Valley Country Club. Beta Theta has been active in the south Lake community since it was established in 1979.  Over the past 39 years, Beta Theta has awarded scholarships, supported local community projects and provided service hours to the community.  This year the local chapter has grown to 21 members after pledging two new members, Sandy Martin and Cathy Bateham.

In February, the Beta Theta group held its annual Mardi Gras Celebration and raised more than $17,000 which will be donated to projects impacting the south Lake County community.  The women have already started planning next year’s Mardi Gras fundraiser.

Save the Date:  The 15thAnnual Mardi Gras will be held on February 23, 2019, at The Clermont Performing Arts Center.
