The Clermont Police and Wounded Officers Initiative are hosting a gala on Saturday, April 28, from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm at the Clermont Performing Arts Center.

The Wounded Officers initiative is a non-profit whose mission is to develop and establish national programs that help address the long-term needs of wounded law enforcement officers whose line of duty injuries have prevented them from continuing their law enforcement careers.

The fourth annual event is part of a weekend of activities in Orlando planned for law-enforcement officers across the country who have been catastrophically wounded in the line of duty. The gala is a fundraiser and also meant to honor these brave heroes.
