In celebration of 10 years of service to south Lake County and the completion of the recent $800,000 renovation of the Mike Conley Hospice House, Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care recently held an open house. The South Lake Chamber of Commerce officiated at the ribbon cutting.  The community was invited to tour the tranquil facility, located at 2100 Oakley Seaver Boulevard.

The Mike Conley Hospice House is a state-of-the-art facility that was opened in 2007 on land donated by South Lake Hospital. The peaceful, 10-bedroom sanctuary, overlooks the beautiful rolling hills of Clermont for the purpose of providing comfort and support to hospice patients as well as their family.

The mission of Cornerstone Hospice is to make quality end-of-life-Hospice care available to all persons, their families, and those affected by death and dying focusing on clinical, ethical, and spiritual issues of dying and grief.
