From April 5- 8, Lake Minneola High School’s HOSA chapter attended the 2018 Florida State Leadership Conference. The conference was the largest conference in the history of Florida HOSA with over 3,000 competitors. The LMHS HOSA chapter had 11 competitors’ at the conference, which are the most competitors in the history of the school.

Three competitors are going to Dallas, Texas on June 27th– July 1st  for the International Leadership Conference! These students are Vivienne Krueger, 1stplace CAN; Sonia Singh, 2ndplace Medical Terminology; and Sarah Crowell, 2ndplace Physical Therapy.

HOSA-Future Health Professionals inspires students to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience. The organization helps to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program.
