The Blessed Sacrament Council of Catholic Women (BSCCW) is using the proceeds from its annual Spring into Fashion lunch and fashion show to support local organizations. The event featured fashions from Dress Barn. Proceeds from the event was presented to Building Block Ministries, Inc. on Friday, May 4th at the Building Blocks Ministries Office in Minneola.

Building Block Ministries works to serve individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to dream, believe, and achieve through advocacy, coalition building, and job and life skills training in a safe and trusted environment. They plan to use the donation toward supplies for the classrooms.

Founded as a parish in 1961, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church began serving the Clermont Catholic community as early as 1910. Today, it is a parish of more than 4,600 families within the Diocese of Orlando, Florida.
