Lake Minneola High School’s HOSA chapter attended the 2018 International Leadership Conference (ILC) recently. The conference was the largest conference in the history of the ILC HOSA with over 10,000 competitors, advisors visitors and guests! LMHS HOSA chapter had three competitors’ advance to the ILC with two able to attend.

Vivienne Krueger placed 1stnationally and internationally in Nursing Assisting, and Sarah Crowell, advanced to the top 10 finalist in 9thplace in Physical Therapy.

HOSA-Future Health Professionals inspires students to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience. The organization helps to develop leadership and clinical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program.
