It’s hard to believe but the countdown has begun. Kids will be heading back to school in about 5 weeks.

On Saturday, July 14, from 10 am – 1 pm, Lake County Sheriff’s Office Charities is hosting its 5th Annual Project Kid Connect benefiting South Lake County’s school-aged children.

The event will include free backpacks, school supplies, and gifts. Enjoy music, food, drinks and fun activities such as face painting, a rock climbing wall, dunk a deputy, and more.

Drop by the Sheriff’s South Lake District Office, located at 15855 SR 50, Clermont on Saturday, July 14th from 10 am – 1 pm and enjoy the family-fun festival.
