Swing and sway to the smooth sounds of the Osceola Arts Big Band. Hear their live, FREE concert on Sunday, July 15 from 3-4 pm at the Minneola City Hall. Listen to famous, foot-tapping tunes from swing, to rock ‘n’ roll, to the ’50s and ‘60s with a few jazz and Latin favorites thrown in. All ages are welcome.

The Osceola Arts Big Band consists of 18 or more professional musicians from the Central Florida area. Many are from retired Military Bands, others are retired School Band Directors, and a few are engineers, college students and businessmen and women.

The Band’s Director, Dr. Thomas Silliman, Sr., is a Minneola Schoolhouse Library Volunteer. His wife, Connie also sings with the group.  The Band performs concerts at the Osceola Center for the Arts in Kissimmee and is available to play for dances, weddings, and special events.
