Harold, a stray Spaniel, was found this week severely neglected in the Fruitland Park area. Lake County Animal Shelter staff removed nearly 6 pounds of matted fur and the 5-year-old pup is already feeling much better. Harold is available for adoption and will require regular grooming and would do best in a quiet home due to vision limitations.

To meet Harold, visit Lake County Animal Shelter at 28123 County Road 561, Tavares, call 352-343-9688 or visitwww.lakecountyfl.gov/LCAS. Anyone with information about Harold’s previous owner should call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 352-343-2101.

For the most up-to-date information and photos of adoptable animals, connect with the shelter on Facebook atwww.facebook.com/LakeCountyAnimalShelter and Twitter at www.twitter.com/lakeshelterpets.
