Lake Xpress routes 50E and 50W are changed to better serve customers

Lake County Transit is changing LakeXpress bus routes 50E and 50W in Clermont to improve efficiency, timeliness, and travel demands to the Walmart at 1450 Johns Lake Road. To ensure the bus’s on-time performance, only LakeXpress Route 50W will stop at the Walmart beginning on Monday, Aug. 6.

In addition, a new American with Disabilities Act-compliant bus stop will be installed at State Road 50 and SouthGrand Highway, to foster a safe and easy transfer for patrons wishing to travel to the Walmart.

The travel patterns of routes 50E and 50W to the Clermont Park & Ride, located at 1995 U.S. Highway 27, will also change, however, the current scheduled stop times will not be affected.
