The first annual Clermont Cardboard Classic at Waterfront Park was held Saturday, August 4, and judging from the large crowd, eager competitors and the amazing cardboard crafted boats (some even seaworthy), it was a huge success!

There were winners but NO losers. Competitors included Tadpoles (ages 5-9), Guppies (ages 10-14), Dolphins (ages 15-20), and Whales (Ages 21 and over).

After the boat races and presentation of awards, “Switch Back To the 80’s”, kept the party moving and grooving.

This fun event was sponsored by the Lake County Rowing Association
