After many years in the works, Minneola Charter has added 6th grade to its facility.

Minneola Charter School Principal Sherry Watts officially declared the 6th-grade addition open to students on August 1 at a ribbon cutting. Lake County School Superintendent Diane Kornegay, School Board members, Lake County Commissioner Sean Parks, City of Minneola Council, as well as adopt classroom donors attended in the celebration.

Minneola Charter School, located at 320 E. Pearl St., hopes to be able to expand to a 7thand 8thgrade building in the future.
