This weekend at the Clermont Waterfront parkrun, 79 people ran, jogged and walked the 3.1-mile course along Lake Minneola. Despite the heat and humidity, 7 participants managed to record new Personal Bests. There were 25 first timers and representatives from 11 different clubs.

Chris Bramwell from England finished first overall this weekend with a time of 19:11. He was followed close behind by Kevin Grogan in 19:15. Rounding out the top three was first-timer Ruben Morales in 20:19.

Another runner visiting from across the pond, Dayle Walker, finished first on the female side in 24:16. Second and third was Clarie Shaw and Lindsey Furrow in 25:33 and 29:28, respectively.

Congratulations to Alan Leach who ran his 50th parkrun!

All of the participants this weekend did amazing, congratulations to all the runners and walkers! We hope to see everyone again next weekend.

The Clermont Waterfront Parkrun takes place every Saturday morning at 7:30am.  It starts at Lake Hiawatha Preserve, 450 12th St, Clermont, FL 34711. This is a FREE event open to people of all levels. Please come out to join us!
