The South Lake Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the relocation and rebranding of The Cycling Hub to Trek Bicycle Store, located at 1675 Hancock Road, Suite 600, Clermont.

Friends of TREK-Clermont

Becky Davis and her husband Bryan love cycling. They have been cyclists for years and believe their love of cycling has helped their business thrive and evolve.  Becky and Bryan have built a business showing their customers just how to share the joy of cycling. They offer best-in-class bikes and accessories to ensure the best experience possible.

The Davis’s believe that great bikes should be attainable for everyone. Bikes are stocked from entry level to professional athlete with prices that won’t break the bank.  Road racing, tearing up dirt trails, as well as quiet rides on a Sunday afternoon with family, all play a part in the Joy of Cycling. Trek Clermont sells an assortment of bikes and offers professional repair services.

When a new customer joins us on their first group ride, we know we’ve done a good job, says Becky.

TABLET:  How long have you lived in South Lake County and why did you move to the area.

Becky: My husband Bryan and I have lived in Clermont for 17 years. As avid cyclists, we would often drive to Clermont to ride our bikes. The “hills of Clermont” were calling us. We moved here from Orlando in 2001.  Our love for cycling blossomed into owning and operating a Trek bicycle store, “The Cycling Hub” since 2005.

TABLET: Tell me a little about your family.

Becky: Bryan has worked in the Fire Service for over 25 years and is currently a Fire Chief with the City of Orlando where he has worked for 20 years. I have a background as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. We have two teenage daughters, Sophie 16 and Ella 13 who have grown up Clermont.

TABLET: The Cycling Hub has moved and rebranded.  Why?

Becky: We grew from a small store to becoming “Trek Bicycle Store Clermont”. The move and re-branding to a Trek Concept store is important. It allows us to bring our customers and community the absolute best products and services available. We have a Trek-certified Service Center which means all our technicians are certified to work on any make and model bicycle. We offer 24-hour repair turnaround, a bicycle trade-in program, road & triathlon bike rentals, packing and shipping services, Kids Trade-Up Program, and professional fitting services. We are open 7 days a week.

TABLET:  The TABLET is also a family-owned business and recognizes the challenges and emotional ups and downs involved in owning your own business.  We wish you great joy and success.
