Saturday, October 6 is fast approaching which means the St. Matthias Episcopal Church Harvest Vendor Fair is also right around the corner.  All are welcome to join the festivities from 9am to 2pm.  Crafters and vendors are available to help you start your Christmas shopping with a wide range of offerings.  There will be face painting for a nominal cost but free if you clip and bring the coupon with you.  The St. Matthias Outreach Committee will be hosting a bake sale with lots of very tasty morsels the proceeds of which will be used to purchase bus passes for the women of the Orlando Work Release Program.
Clermont’s very own police officers (from 9am -1pm) and firefighters (from 10am-12pm) will be on hand to interact with the kids as well as share tips on safety, fingerprinting and fire safety as well as give tours of their vehicles.
Raffle tickets will be on sale from 9am to 1pm and winning tickets will be drawn beginning at 1 p.m.  There will be over 100 winners.  “We are so grateful to the Clermont business community which has donated so generously to our raffle”, said Karen Freiberg.  Raffle items include, but are not limited to, food, wine, tickets to local productions, a variety of baskets filled with goodies, things for pets, kids, families, men, women and oh so much more.  Proceeds from the Harvest Vendor Fair and raffle will benefit Thrive Clermont.
