An art piece, created by teens participating in Thrive Clermont’s 2018 Summer Pop Ups series was presented to the City of Clermont as a thank you gift for the city’s arts and culture grant which made the Summer PopUps possible!

Each Tuesday evening last June, Thrive Clermont offered teens a wide selection of activities including Crossfit, Yoga, Photography, Acting, Intro to Rowing, Pier Fishing. The activities were followed by food and music. The program was called Summer PopUps.

Sheri Lewin of Thrive Clermont announced that the third annual Teen Summit will be held on October 15th at Clermont Performing Arts Center. She said the all-day, interactive summit will include social icebreakers, hands-on educational breakout sessions, entertainment as well as the first-ever Clermont Teen Town Hall. Teens will have an opportunity to have their voices heard. Clermont leaders running for office will be on hand to listen to Teen Summit attendees and answer questions about issues that affect young people in the community!

Thrive Clermont is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2015 to provide enrichment programming for teens ages 13-17 in the South Lake Community. It provides organized programs focusing on skill building, socialization, and mentoring opportunities for healthy youth development.
