Groveland firefighters Curtis Garvin, Patrick Pastular and Brian Quintus are shown wearing T-shirts being sold to support breast cancer awareness and services to help women facing treatment. The public can purchase the shirts at either Groveland fire station.

Groveland Firefighters are wearing pink and selling pink T-shirts to raise money and awareness for Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation. The nonprofit is dedicated to raising awareness and providing services for women facing treatment for breast cancer.

The Foundation helps pay for cancer screenings, mammograms and serves as patient advocates, among other services.

During October, the firefighters are selling T-shirts throughout the city at a variety of businesses. Last year, Groveland firefighters raised more than $2,200 for the Foundation.

The T-shirts are available in children sizes for $10 and in adult sizes small – 3XL for $20.

Shirts can be purchased at Fire Station 95, at 450 W. Orange St., or at Station 94 at 193 Cherry Valley Trail.
