South Lake Chamber of Commerce officiated at a ribbon cutting for Root & Branch Bistro + Bar

Root and Branch Bistro & Bar recently held its grand opening.  The South Lake Chamber of Commerce officiated at the ribbon cutting, officially opening the doors of the stylishly decorated eatery located at 1200 Oakley Seaver Blvd., Clermont.

After years of working in casual fine dining restaurants, Chef Kraft considered a venture of his own. In partnership with his wife Dana, who also envisioned one day owning and operating a restaurant, the couple made the decision to follow their dreams and open their new restaurant. Chef Kraft now has the ability to apply what he has learned and loved for so many years providing an elevated culinary experience and delivering exceptional service standards.

AJ and Dana’s goal is to deliver locally sourced food in an inviting and service-oriented atmosphere.

The bistro will offer weekly specials and features an open kitchen where the chefs can communicate with the guests. The menu will change with the seasons for a unique experience provided to the guest every monthly.


A wide variety of wines and local beers on tap are available to enhance the dining experience.
