The Shoppes at Anderson Hill will soon break ground at U.S. Highway 27 and Anderson Hill Road, across from Walmart. The 56,000-square-foot, multi-tenant shopping center will house retail businesses, restaurants, and office space. Planet Fitness will occupy approximately 20,000 square feet of floor space.

The anticipated opening for the plaza is spring 2019. Businesses presently planning to come to Shoppes at Anderson Hill are Rita’s Italian Ice, Smoothie King, and Clean Eats.

Highway 50

Blue Water Car Wash – by the time you ready this, the car wash will probably be open. It’s located near Mealy Chevrolet.

Two new restaurants will be opening at College Station, located near Hwy 50 and Hancock Rd. (in the same complex as First Watch Restaurant)

Five Guys (Opening Soon)


Dan Newlin Law Office will open in early 2019.  It will be the firm’s “home office”

FIT GOURMET, a prepared food business, opening soon on SR50 and East Avenue.

Green Mountain Pizz(located in Montverde) opening at Sunnyside Plaza, Clermont in late 2018.

Home2Suites-Clermont, a 100-room hotel located on Hwy 50 near Legends Way is open.  

 

Hurricane Grill and Wings– coming to Clermont, Highway 50 at Pagonia Road (Across Road from Dunkin Donuts / By Magnolia Point). Opening in early 2019.

Mind Immersions, a Virtual Reality Entertainment Center, is  located by McAllister’s on Hwy. 50. (Opening late 2018).

 

 

Mind Masters Escape Room will open in late 2018. A great team building or family experience. Located on East Highway 50, Clermont (located by Modern Orthodontics).

Paradise Grill – Located at the Magnolia Center. Opening this fall.

Root and Branch Restaurant and Bar, located on at 1200 Oakley Seaver Blvd. is open. 

WaWa Gas Station will be coming to Hwy 50/Emil Jahna.


Hwy 27               

Amish Pretzel Shop (2409 US 27) near Epic Theater has recently opened.  So many choices and so good.

Chick-Fil-A is coming to Hammock Ridge Road and US 27, Clermont (opening projected early 2019). This will be Rocky DeStefano’s second Chick-Fil-A in the Clermont area.

Dunkin Donuts will be located near Citrus Tower and Hwy 27.  Expected to open in 2019

Edible Arrangements will open in late 2018 (located in the former comics store by Epic Theater). The shop will be serving food.

Growler Orlando West, a micro-brewery located at Clermont Landing near Aldi, is expected to open soon.  The sign just went up.

Seal Swim School will locate in the Clermont Hillside Terrace Complex. Opening in late 2018.  http://www.sealswimschool.com

Twistee Treat – It’s open! It is located on S. US 27 next to the Kings Ridge Shopping Center.


 

DOWNTOWN CLERMONT

Suncreek Brewery General Manager John Rink greets long-time Clermont locals.

Suncreek Brewery, Michael’s Ali Coal Fired Pizza, and Savoree opened on Tuesday, September 18.  MAC’d OUT will be ready to serve by the end of October.

 

 


The Montrose Street Market will be opening this year in Downtown Clermont. The building, located on the corner of 8thand Montrose, will house a Beer and Wine Bar, Gourmet Coffee Shop, Crepe Restaurant, Ice Cream & Cake Store, Steaks and Skewers Shop, Gourmet French Cheese Raclette Shop, Gourmet Plant Based Restaurant, Gourmet Brazilian Bites Shop, and an amazing Essential Oils and Oxygen Bar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chef O’s Bakery and Cafe (formerly The Main Event), located on the corner of Minneola Ave and 8thStreet, will open soon.


Clermont Brewing Co. (CBC)– Coming to 750 W DeSoto Street. Construction is moving along and the opening is expected in early 2019. The CBC will offer onsite brewed craft beer, artisanal food, and live entertainment. It will have covered porches complete with furniture groupings and fire pits, a beautiful backyard and a  fully air-conditioned tap room.


Florida Angler, a fishing outfitter, is open at 786  Montrose St. (merchandise and lessons available.). The building was totally renovated, yet kept much of its historic charm.


The building (formerly Jalea), located at 658 West Avenue, has a new owner.  A new restaurant is planned to open on the site.


VP Skytop Wine/Bourbon Bar and restaurant/rooftop lounge will hold its groundbreaking this fall. The business will be constructed on property located at 752 W. Montrose, in the back of Engel & Volker /across from Hanks Electric.


 

Crawford, Modica & Holt, a law firm, is located at the corner of Montrose and 7th. (previous location of the Clermont Herb Shoppe)


In the Works

Cubesmart – a 20,000 square-foot residential, self-storage facility, located on 5.75+ acres of land on the southeast corner of Hancock Road and Trade Avenue.

Fifty West Class A Office Space -Class A office space, new retail and rooftop restaurant coming soon to the City of Clermont. Fifty West will be located on east SR50. Designed by local Clermont Powell Studio Architecture.

 

The Addison Apartments are being built at Hooks and Citrus Tower across from the nursing facility.

Lakes of Clermont, a skilled nursing facility, is under construction at Hooks and Citrus Tower Blvd. It is expected to open in early 2019.

Bed & Breakfast w/Boutique at 550 West Street (formerly Pasta Vino Restaurant).  Currently in the planning stages.
