It is finally beginning to feel a little more like fall at the Clermont Waterfront parkrun! The temperature on Saturday morning dipped to 58 degrees, nearly perfect running weather. Visitors may laugh as we are shivering, but that is pretty cold for Floridians! These ideal conditions brought over 30 parkrunners home to a new PR. A total of 143 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 46 were first timers. Representatives of 28 different clubs took part.

Overseas visitor Andrew Lovelock took first place this weekend with a solid time of 18:40. He was followed by Joel Thompson in 19:15. Kevin Grogan got back to racing again with his 19:52 for a third-place finish.

On the female side, junior Charlotte Young from England took first with a time of 21:19. Suzanne Brennan and Maddy Pullen finished second and third with times of 22:30 and 23:12, respectively.

Joel Thompson ran his 150th parkrun this weekend. Parkrun regular Rissie Thieler ran her 125th parkrun! Congratulations Joel and Rissie!

Kendyl Cardwell, who has been doing a great job of writing our parkrun recaps reached her 25th volunteer milestone! Thanks Kendyl for all you do!
