Groveland City Council opened Downtown Festival Park with an official ribbon cutting

You may have noticed holiday elves running along Crittenden, Sampey Roads and Hwy 50 in Groveland last Saturday around 8 am. The elves were competing in the Elf Run/Walk which kicked off the day’s festivities in the city of Groveland.

Below are a few of the Elves spotted during the Elf 5K Run/Walk

The run finished just in time for the ribbon cutting to celebrate the Grand Opening of Downtown Festival Park, located at the corner of Main and Crittenden. The new gazebo is the focal point of the new park and only completed a few days before the festival.
