The City of Minneola was filled with twinkling lights and sounds of holiday merriment on Saturday, December 15.

Main Street was lined with people eagerly awaiting the first sirens which would signal the beginning of the parade. Kids wore glow sticks and collected candy from parade participants. There were over 35 colorfully lite and decorated entries.

This was the first Moonlight Christmas Parade hosted by The City of Minneola and opinions were very positive. A comment from many of the viewers, “can’t wait for the “second”; hope it turns into an annual”.

The Parade route ran from South Main Avenue and Lake Minneola to the end of North Main Avenue.

After the Christmas Parade, Santa held an Activity Workshop, where families enjoyed a visit and photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, create winter crafts, eat yummy snacks and watch a holiday, family movie.

The city of Minneola hosted a great parade!
